In this project energy conservation measures have been tried in Xylene Rerun Column in PX plant at Reliance Industries Ltd. Patalganga. Pressure in the column is optimized to balance revised energy requirements of plant.

COCOA BUTTER ALTERNATIVES FROM INDIGENIOUS FATS

In this project effort is made to find out alternative fat/oil, which can replace cocoa butter, which is costly. India is rich in natural wealth. In kokan KOKUM is available in large amount. Fat that is extracted from kokum is quite cheap and can successfully replace cocoa butter.
